to The Brian Nichols Show your source for common sense politics on the we are libertarians network as a sales and marketing executive in the greater telecommunications cybersecurity industry, Brian works with C level executives to help them future proof their company's infrastructure for an uncertain future. And this is why we talk about being the trusted adviser, you should be able to help us that expert guidance and all the opinions that I'm sure that you have, and help lead them towards not just a decision but the right decision. Instead of focusing on simply winning arguments or being right. And now your host, Brian Nichols.

Well, happy Friday there, folks, Brian Nichols, you're on The Brian Nichols Show and thank you for joining us. And of course another fun filled episode I am as always, your humble host and today it's you and me one on one and we're going to sit down for another morning sales huddle we're going back to this past week's Morning Sales huddle here actually aired aired it was released yesterday, around 6:08am or so. So for you Morning Sales huddle subscribers, bright and early hit your email inbox. Hopefully, you guys found it to be a value because what we were talking about was the idea of stop persuading and start winning. And I had a meme here of a good old Obi Wan or good old Ben Kenobi, conviction and honesty and a politician. Now there's something I haven't seen in a long time. Which for those of you who are familiar with Star Wars is a classic Ben Kenobi line saying Obi Wan Watson name I haven't heard a long time. But that's most likely for Stephen Ken and his awesome podcast beltway Banthas if you want the Star Wars talk head over there. But to today's morning sales huddle. So when we talk about politics, or sales, one common misnomer is that those who are most successful are those who can persuade the most people. But what if people were more interested in your convictions? rather than you being convincing? If you think about some of the most noted figures in the world of sales, business, politics, people like Elon Musk, Ron DeSantis, Thomas Massie, or Tony Robbins likely come to mind. And what is it that draws people towards them? Is it that they have the gift of a silver tongue? Can they spin any truth or falsehood to get what they want to persuade? And to convince people? No, this isn't why these individuals are able to get such strong, fervent supporters. If you think of these four men, what do they all have in common? They all have very different backgrounds, very different points of focus in their respective careers and journeys. And yet, they've all been able to amass a barrage of audience and supporters without having to resort to persuasion or convincing others but rather, people will buy them on their convictions. If you say something true that isn't popular, that people who understand and appreciate the intestinal fortitude required to make such bold declarative statements and positions in the face such popular, but not necessarily good opinions that you are challenging, will appreciate it. For example, I really got my footing in the greater libertarian liberty movement in 2015. And at the time, I was learning the movement understand the problems that we were facing and figuring out where I could bring value and help. Over the past seven years I've spoken in events written for law Large publications I've been interviewed for national and international publications started a podcast and with that podcast connected 10s of 1000s of individuals to other experts, and movers and shakers who are embracing new solutions and in turn, disrupting the status quo. But my focus has not been of that of persuasion. I haven't spent my time, energy and efforts simply trying to convince others that I'm right. Instead, I've made a point to lead with my convictions, and to speak my truth in the movement and show where we need to change what change will require, and how that will help us accomplish our goals. No, we're aren't wasting our time trying to win arguments, but rather, we're focusing on leading by example, with conviction. When you lead with conviction, it gives you the opportunity to win. And when you win, you don't even need to think about wasting your time arguing or persuading good ideas, when backed with conviction will win the day. All right, folks, that's gonna wrap up our Friday morning sales huddle, and granted, it does come a little bit later here in the afternoon, but I appreciate you joining me today.
